the London Knights. That ice
pad has provided the perfect
venue for curling classics,
skating championships, as well
as the 2008 World Under-17
Hockey Challenge. This year,
Disney’s High School Musical
Ice Tour is sure to be a big
draw. All around the JLC,
exciting new restaurants of
every sort have sprung up
to meet demand of grateful
concert-goers.

entire region can see
major concerts and
events without
heading to Toronto.
The River Forks area is
significant because, in the
early days, the Thames truly
was London’s economic lifeblood.
Barges carried goods
back and forth along its
banks, while riverboats
ferried weekend picnickers
to Springbank Park.
Today, it’s a water playground
for boating, canoeing
and rowing. It is also a
scenic backdrop for several
golf courses, parks and trails
and home to scads of wildlife

campus of the University of
